‘Gambler’s hole’ and more: Tamarack unveils new summer attractions

Tamarack Resort kicked off its summer operations this weekend, including partially opening the long-awaited Osprey Meadows Golf Course.

Nine holes are now available to play, with a grand opening of the full 18-hole course in July. Tamarack has been working to restore Osprey meadows since the resort took back ownership of the course in 2021. It had sat idle since closing in 2015. The restoration includes adding a 19th Gambler’s Hole and reconfiguring the course from its original layout to “improve playability.”

“The grand opening of Osprey Meadows will be the highlight of our summer, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for players to experience all 19 holes of this beautiful course,” Tamarack Resort President Scott Turlington said. “This, along with all of the resort’s new amenities, demonstrate Tamarack’s commitment to enhancing the homeowner, lodging guest and visitor experience.”

Four new mountain biking trails will open this coming weekend, three of which are black-diamond courses and the other green. These new additions make for a total of 54 miles of lift-served trails for all levels of riders.

A new grass-lawn amphitheater and stage now sits near the Village at Tamarack and will be home to the Tamarack Summer Concert Series, which started this weekend. The series features a free concert every Saturday afternoon throughout the summer.

In mid-June, Tamarack guests can enjoy guided ziplining tours, whitewater rafting trips, and Camp Tam — the resort’s summer program for kids.
