‘Legacy opportunity’: Lakefront McCall compound hits market for nearly $10-million

It’s the type of thing that is out of reach for just about everyone: a private compound for sale on the shore of Payette Lake in Pilgrim’s Cove.

A new real estate listing offers three homes across two lots on more than an acre of land with 82 feet of shoreline.

The listing says the property has been in one family for 70 years, which Valley County Assessor records indicate is the Spaeth family of Boise.

“Legacy opportunity to own three homes on two parcels, all with breathtaking lake views,” the listing boasts. “Private setting including a combined 1.07 tranquil acres.”

By the numbers, the three homes total 7,100 square feet featuring 17 bedrooms with 11.5 bathrooms, a private dock for eight boats, nine outdoor decks and those 82 feet of shoreline.

Photos show a three-story home perched along the lake, which includes a ground-floor studio apartment. There’s also an exterior lake bathroom.  Behind the main home are two additional “lodge” buildings.

The Valley County Assessor values the two parcels and structures at $5.535 million. The property is listed with Matt Bauscher and Luke Silbernagel at Amherst Madison Real Estate.

The $9.5 million listing is one of the most expensive home listings in Idaho and the third-most-expensive listing in McCall, behind two modern large-scale homes in the Whitetail area.
