Valley Lookout is fully owned by Elevate 208 Media, LLC, an Idaho company.  Elevate 208 Media is controlled and owned by Don Day and Kara Jackson of Boise, who serve as managing partners of the business.  Elevate 208 Media’s revenue is completely derived from the publication of BoiseDev & Valley Lookout.  Neither Valley Lookout nor Elevate 208 Media have any sources of outside investment. The site’s revenue model depends on donations, grant funding and advertising.

Valley Lookout is a community-focused journalism outlet, bringing news coverage to the Valley County area.  The site aims to be lively, informative, fact-based and non-partisan.
