Wild Onion took over a former real estate office on Idaho 55 in McCall earlier this year. And before that – the spot was a gas station.
From gas, to real estate, to a gift shop – the spot has had an unexpected journey. And “expect the unexpected” is the motto for the store.
The shop carries items for the home, including gifts, antiques and art – as well as a line of personal care items.
“At the Wild Onion in McCall, Idaho, we strive to be unique – offer items you won’t find anywhere else,” owners wrote on Facebook. “We have brought in lines from all over the world including India, Bali, Java, Africa, France and Mexico and carry a wide range of items including furniture, home decor, lighting, lamps, unique women’s clothing, children’s toys, jewelry, stationary (sic) and gifts.”
Wild Onion also carries Christmas decor in its shop at 805 N. 3rd St. in McCall near McCall Brewing Company. Hours are 10am-5:30pm each day.
